Berry Bitty High
I’m sure you've at least heard of Strawberry Shortcake. Me and my collaborator Anisa Shank have been working on a reimaging of the tale. Here Strawberry and the gang are going on adventures in the quaint town of Berryton. Strawberry has transferred from Berry City to what she thinks is this boring little place and decides the best way to spice up her life is by starting a band. And she's going to need to make some new friends to give her a hand.
Apricot
Meet Alissa Apricot, she's a hardworking sweetheart who just wants to spend her days traveling on her moped. She's a freshman at Berry Bitty High. She's a member of the foreign exchange program and lives with Crepe Suzette and Cherry Cutler. They spend most of their time together and have become sisters. She makes an honest living working as a grocery delivery girl for the local Fizzy Mart, owned by Peppermint Fizz's parents. She's also an active member of the school's book club and will sit down to have a good read when taking a drive doesn't suit her.
Brownie
Meet Belle Brownie our bodacious, bashful, trendsetter. Her friends just call her B.B. She wears brown leather like a second skin and you'll never catch her in anything that doesn't make her look stunning. She's a Senior at Berry Bitty High and she has a bright future ahead of her. She's a proud member of the Varsity Cheer Squad and is popular with all the boys in and out of school. Her parents are famous chocolatiers, and this is the first time they've settled in 13 years so that Brownie can have a stable high school life. She's talented in dancing, cooking, and baking, academically she can run circles around anyone in math and science. She plans to open her own Bakery Chain making chocolate sweets just like her parents.
Almond Blossom Tea
Meet our junior An Lam Almond Blossom Tea. She's the president of the AV club at Berry Bitty High. She works hard at her parent's tea house, and in her off time, she plays shooting games at the Crumble Crate Arcade religiously. She has an embarrassing secret. She wants to become an actress and play Cadet Sugar Plumb from a show called The Sugar Blasters and practices lines and scenes in secret. She loves her family so much, but she also wants to follow her dream.
Berrykin
Your everyman Ben Berrykin is a bright-eyed freshman at Berry Bitty High. He's excited because he thinks he's hot stuff, but oh boy is he in for a rude awakening. Just trying to keep his footing after being homeschooled all his life Berrykin has a long way to go before finding his place in the world. He thought Berryton and it's calm atmosphere would mean he'd be the cock-of-the-walk, but he comes to find out he's surrounded by a bunch of rich kids with famous parents and deeper pockets than he thought were possible to have for someone his age. Despite all that, he's gunning to be homecoming king this year, and the friends he makes along the way are happy to give him a hand.
